Yes. The Ravens Forge accepts one-off custom 3D printing projects as well as small production runs. You do not need to place a bulk order.
We can help with prototypes, replacement parts, hobby components, custom designs, and other small-run projects. Send us your STL, STEP, or other available design file along with the part dimensions, quantity, and what the finished part needs to do.
If you are still testing a design, we can start with a single prototype so you can check fit and function before ordering additional parts.

Yes. The Ravens Forge offers custom 3D printing for one-off replacement parts, prototypes, discontinued components, and unique pieces that may be difficult or impossible to purchase elsewhere.
If you have an existing part, measurements, photos, or a 3D model such as an STL or STEP file, send us the details through our Custom 3D Printing request form. We’ll review the project and let you know what we can make.

Getting a one-off prototype made is simple. Send us your STL, STEP, or other available 3D model file along with a short description of what the part needs to do.
We can help you choose an appropriate material and print a single part so you can test:
Fit and dimensions
Strength and durability
Function and movement
Overall size and appearance
If the first prototype needs adjustment, you can revise the design and test again before committing to a larger quantity.
At The Ravens Forge, we welcome one-off prototypes and small production runs, so you do not need to order in bulk just to test an idea.
-
Yes. The Ravens Forge can produce custom replacement parts from an existing design file, such as an STL or STEP file.
Send us the details through our Custom 3D Printing request form, and we’ll review the part, recommend the best approach, and provide a quote.
-
To request a quote, visit our Custom 3D Printing page and submit the project request form.
Include as much information as possible about the part, such as dimensions, quantity, material preferences, photos, drawings, or an STL/STEP file if you have one. We’ll review the project and contact you with pricing, recommendations, and next steps.

Look for a kit with clean print quality, accurate fit, proper material selection, and reinforcement in the areas that carry the most load.
A well-made 3D-printed RC aircraft kit should have:
Clean mating surfaces with minimal gaps
Straight, consistent structural parts
Strong layer adhesion without splitting or delamination
Appropriate use of PLA, LW-PLA, or reinforced materials
Carbon rods, spars, or tubes where the design requires them
Clear hardware and electronics requirements
Assembly guidance and access to replacement parts or support
At The Ravens Forge, our aircraft kits are printed and inspected with fit, weight, reinforcement, and real-world assembly in mind.
-
The best material depends on what the part needs to do. At The Ravens Forge, we select materials based on factors like strength, weight, stiffness, flexibility, and heat exposure.
Common options include:
PLA — a strong, rigid choice for many prototypes, hobby parts, and RC aircraft components
LW-PLA — a lightweight material commonly used for RC aircraft wings, tail surfaces, and other weight-sensitive parts
PLA-CF — carbon-fiber-reinforced PLA for parts that benefit from increased stiffness and a more rigid feel
TPU — a flexible material useful for tires, hinges, bumpers, and other parts that need some give
If you are not sure which material is best, send us your project requirements and we can help you choose an appropriate option.
