The Ravens Forge is a brand operated by Raven Dynamics LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company. Throughout these Terms and Conditions, “The Ravens Forge,” “Raven Dynamics LLC,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Raven Dynamics LLC and The Ravens Forge.

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our website and your purchase of products from us.

By accessing or using the website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase.

You are responsible for ensuring that your purchase, assembly, possession, and use of our products comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

3. Orders, Pricing, and Payment

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change without notice.

We reserve the right to accept, reject, limit, or cancel any order, including orders affected by pricing, inventory, product-description, availability, or payment-processing errors.

Website payments are securely processed by the payment processor identified during checkout.

Purchases made through third-party marketplaces, including eBay and other marketplaces we may use, are processed by the applicable marketplace or its payment provider.

We do not directly store complete payment-card numbers.

Transactions made through a third-party marketplace are also governed by that marketplace’s terms, policies, and buyer-protection rules.

If these Terms conflict with mandatory marketplace rules applicable to a marketplace transaction, the marketplace rules will control for that transaction.

4. Taxes

Applicable sales, use, gross receipts, or similar taxes may be charged and collected where required by law.

Third-party marketplaces may calculate, collect, and remit applicable taxes in accordance with their policies and applicable law.

5. Shipping

We currently ship within the United States only.

Our typical processing time is 3–5 business days for in-stock items unless otherwise stated.

Items that are not currently in stock, custom orders, or made-to-order products may require approximately 5–7 business days or another timeframe disclosed on the product page or communicated to you before shipment.

Processing and delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed.

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

If an order is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us promptly. We will work with the carrier and customer to investigate and resolve the issue, subject to applicable law, carrier policies, marketplace rules, and the circumstances of the shipment.

Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable rights available to you under applicable law.

6. Returns and Refunds

Returns are accepted within 30 days after delivery, subject to the following conditions:

Products must be unused, complete, and returned in their original packaging.

Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to an error by The Ravens Forge or the product arrived damaged or materially defective.

We do not offer direct exchanges. You may return an eligible product for a refund and place a separate order for the replacement product.

Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to an error by The Ravens Forge or the product arrived damaged or materially defective.

You must contact us before returning a product to obtain the correct return instructions and current return address.

Original shipping charges are nonrefundable except where required by law or when the return results from our error.

Custom, personalized, modified, clearance, or made-to-order products may be nonreturnable when disclosed on the applicable product page or before purchase, except where the product arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from what was ordered.

Purchases made through a third-party marketplace are also subject to that marketplace’s applicable return and refund policies.

7. Product Use and Safety

Our hobby products are not toys. Adult use or responsible adult supervision is required.

DIY assembly may involve tools, adhesives, sharp components, electrical parts, motors, propellers, ducted fans, lithium-polymer batteries, and other potentially hazardous equipment.

Use appropriate personal protective equipment and follow safe building, charging, handling, testing, and operating practices.

Because of the nature of 3D printing, minor variations in color, layer appearance, surface finish, dimensions, fit, and tolerances may occur. These variations are not necessarily defects.

Flying RC aircraft involves inherent risk.

Inspect all components, control surfaces, electronics, batteries, fasteners, propulsion systems, and structural components before each use.

Do not operate RC aircraft near people, animals, occupied structures, vehicles, power lines, airports, restricted airspace, or other unsafe areas.

You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, regulations, registration requirements, operating restrictions, and safety guidelines, including applicable Federal Aviation Administration requirements and community-based organization safety guidelines.

7A. Assumption of Risk, Release, and Waiver

Building, assembling, modifying, testing, and operating RC aircraft involves inherent risks.

These risks include, without limitation, hazards associated with tools, adhesives, sharp components, rotating propellers, ducted fans, lithium batteries, high-speed motors, electronic speed controllers, electrical systems, structural failure, component failure, loss of control, and flight operations.

These hazards may cause serious bodily injury, death, fire, or property damage.

By purchasing, assembling, modifying, testing, or using our products, you knowingly and voluntarily assume the risks associated with those activities to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and discharge Raven Dynamics LLC, The Ravens Forge, and their respective members, managers, officers, employees, contractors, representatives, advisors, and agents from claims arising from your assembly, modification, testing, operation, or use of the products.

This release does not apply to our willful misconduct or to gross negligence, personal injury liability, consumer rights, warranties, remedies, or other obligations that cannot lawfully be waived or limited.

  • Your violation of another person’s rights.

This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from conduct for which indemnification cannot lawfully be required.

14. Arbitration and Class Action Waiver

Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights.

Except for the matters identified below, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from or relating to the website, a product, your purchase, or these Terms will be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its applicable Consumer Arbitration Rules.

The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this arbitration provision.

No Class Actions

Claims must be brought only in an individual capacity.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party may bring or participate in a class, collective, consolidated, coordinated, mass, or representative action or arbitration.

Hearing Format and Location

Arbitration hearings will ordinarily be conducted by video conference, telephone, or document submission when permitted under the applicable AAA rules.

If an in-person hearing is required or elected and the parties do not agree on another location, it will take place in Santa Fe County, New Mexico, subject to the AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules and the arbitrator’s authority to select another location or format when necessary to ensure a fair and accessible proceeding.

Fees and Rules

AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules will apply.

You will be responsible for the consumer filing fee, if any, and we will pay the remaining AAA administrative and arbitrator fees to the extent required by applicable AAA rules or law.

Small Claims and Injunctive Relief Exceptions

Either party may bring an eligible individual claim in small-claims court.

Either party may seek temporary or preliminary injunctive relief from a court of competent jurisdiction when reasonably necessary to protect intellectual property or confidential information while arbitration is pending.

Confidentiality

To the extent permitted by law and the applicable arbitration rules, the parties will keep the arbitration, including nonpublic filings, discovery, testimony, documents exchanged, and the award, confidential, except when disclosure is required by law, necessary to enforce or challenge an award, or agreed to in writing.

You may opt out of this arbitration provision by emailing info@theravensforge.com within 30 days after your first direct purchase from us.

Your email must include:

Final and Binding Decision

The arbitrator’s award will be final and binding, subject to any review permitted by applicable law.

Judgment on the award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction.

Severability and Survival

If any portion of this arbitration section is found unenforceable, the remaining portions will remain effective to the fullest extent permitted by law.

This section survives termination of these Terms and completion, cancellation, refund, or fulfillment of an order.

15. Governing Law

Except where federal law applies or applicable law requires otherwise, these Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

Subject to Section 14, any dispute not required to be arbitrated must be brought in a state or federal court having jurisdiction in Santa Fe County, New Mexico.
